Position Reporting To: Head Of Construction/Construction Manager
Primary Role Objective: This Represents A Remarkable Opportunity For A Quantity Surveyor (QS) With D&B Experience, Eager To Engage In Diverse Projects, Spanning From Historic Listed Structures To Small-Scale Office Renovations And Expansive Residential Developments. The Responsibilities Inherent To This Role Will Be Most Suitable For Established Quantity Surveyors With Experience In The Main Contractor Realm, Including But Not Limited To:
Engaging With Clients, Contractors, The Supply Chain, And Various Stakeholders To Oversee Projects, From Inception To Post-Completion, Aligned With The Client’s Specifications.
Project And Stakeholder Management: Chairing Project Meetings, Scheduling And Overseeing Site Activities, And Coordinating Multiple Project Participants.
Project Procurement: Managing Tendering Processes, Crafting Contract Documents, Negotiation, And Risk Analysis.
Budget Development: Conducting Feasibility Studies, Implementing Value Engineering, And Estimating Costs.
Demonstrated Experience With Projects Ranging From £8,000 To £10 Million In Contract Value.
Familiarity With JCT Contracts Is Advantageous, Though Not Mandatory.
